Hull Fair 2015
Hull Fair is one of Europe's largest travelling fun fairs and is very much a part of Hull's history. Dating back to 1278 the traditional fair attracts travellers from far and wide, not just the UK but Europe and beyond. Located at Hull's Walton Street it arrives in early October and stays for one week encompassing the 11th October.
It was always something we looked forward to as kids and even in to my teens I enjoyed attending the fair and testing my courage on the rides which seemed to get bigger, faster and more technical as the years go by. A massive part of the attraction is the food stalls with the world famous Bob Carvers being a particular favourite. I now enjoy an annual visit with my own children and this year was no different but I chose to leave the camera at home and experience the joys with the family and leave the distractions of photography aside.
I had planned to make a photography project at 2015's fair but due to other commitments I just didn't have the time but I did manage a flying visit on it's last day to grab some pictures. Below are a selection but you can see the full gallery at http://www.neilnicklinphotography.co.uk/p146631048

I just wanted to say I love your street life photos plus this collection above. Well done. It's not easy catching people in situ even if they look away!
